Hello, world: Skill Check Games is live
August 10, 2026 · Skill Check Games
Welcome to Skill Check Games! We’re a two-person indie studio building competitive multiplayer web games.
Right now we have two titles you can play in your browser today:
- Achtung Royale, the classic Achtung, die Kurve! reborn for online play. Last worm alive wins.
- MS Battle, real-time competitive Minesweeper. Find out who clears mines the best!
Free-to-Play + Fair Premium
All our games will be free-to-play. Some of them will include a Fair Premium.
This means that you can play the whole game for free, but sometimes there is a fair premium on top that gives you some advantage. What fair means is that everyone pays the same price for the same advantage, once. No bigger bundle, no VIP tier, no “just one more pack”.
We firmly stand against the idea that more money should mean more wins. A game is not skill-based if you can beat your opponent by repeatedly opening your wallet. If one of our games ever lets you do that, you have our permission to be very rude about it on Discord.
The full definition lives on our About page.
Come say hi on our Discord.
